This inline cable switch utilizes a slack cable style with “Slow-Make – Slow Break” contacts.  This switch does NOT provide “Positive Break” or “Positive Transfer” features and should only be used for non-emergency, normal start – stop applications.

This momentary switch is assembled with one normally open contact which is held open by a spring in the switch body.  Pulling of the ring eye collapses the spring, allowing the contact to close and actuate the circuit it is connected to.  Releasing of the rope then allows the spring to expand thereby opening the contact.

The housing is made from high quality yellow nylon. It is intended to hang in-line with the cable run or directly from an eye bolt.

The switch comes pre-wired for quick and easy installation and utilizes a 5 pin M12 connector.  The maximum cable recommended cable length is 33 feet in each direction with a maximum interval support of 10 feet.

The mechanical life of the switch is 100,000 operations.

The rugged construction and long term reliability makes this cable pull switch well suited to function within various environments.
